Amazing Luxury Dog Hotel Rooms Our dog hotel rooms bare no resemblance to kennels. They are designed to replicate a luxury human hotel room.
The dog rooms are tiled wall to floor for easy cleaning.
Rooms are fully heated with underfloor heating, each room has its own thermostat so it can be altered for the needs of each guest to make sure the rooms stay at a constant healthy and comfortable temperature. Our guests are pet dogs and used to living in homes so we make sure the temperature replicates that of the average home.
They are well lit with natural light from large windows and chandeliers.
They have their own TV, this helps them to relax with a comforting back ground noise and some dogs like to watch TV.
There is a good selection of quality safe toys for all dogs.
The bedding ranges from snuggly soft blankets and cushions to Laura Ashley day beds and Wallace and Jones Sofas.
Much like at home they have vases of fresh flowers and pictures on the walls. We use air cleansing plants in the rooms to improve air quality.
The building is a double block insulated, wooden clad to ensure good insulation for hot and cold weather.
When people come to view they often remark that it is better than their hotel.

Home Boarding
Small and elderly dogs can stay in our home as part of the family.
We like to have the elderly dogs in the house so we can keep a close watch on them and it is closer to a home environment that they are used too so they are not going to be unsettled away from home.
100% sociable dogs are welcome for home boarding so they can enjoy the company of other dogs. We are happy to allow dogs to chill out where ever they want in the home and we never let quiet dogs be bothered by younger active ones, The whole place is very relaxed and quiet (unless someone knocks on the door when dog naturally bark) We make the dogs as happy as possible which means they are to be relaxed and quite.

Walks
We believe it is essential to all dog well-being that they have plenty of exercise and fun simulating activity.
All dogs are walked in pairs, for safety and insurance/license reasons we do not walk dogs off lead, they can have lots of run about time in the dog garden and paddock were it is safe. We are in the Derbyshire Dales which has amazing walks right on our door step, we can walk for miles over the hills, in the woods or along the rivers, the length of walk is dependent on the dogs health and requirements. You can book extra walks at £2.50 when walked with another dog or £5 if walked alone.

Daily Routine
6.30am Craig lets dogs out in to their private gardens so they can go to the toilet, they are put back in their rooms, rooms are tidied, dogs are fussed and given a treat biscuit. Room temperatures are checked and adjusted if needed. Dogs are observed to check they are ok. Dish washer and washing machine emptied and put on again.
8am Dogs doors to their private gardens are opened and they are given the freedom to go inside or out dependent on weather, if is freezing cold, pouring with rain and blowing a gale they are not going to appreciate having their door left open it will cause them to get cold and stressed and possibly ill. In the case of bad weather, we open their door at regular intervals to allow them to go to the toilet. If the weather is good however it can be left open most of the day. They enjoy laying in the sun or having a play outside and getting fresh air. At this time they are also all fed and water changed, records updated
9am 12 pm Dogs are exercised one hour after feeding, in secure paddock or on walks dependent on each dogs needs, records updated
9am –12pm Rooms and gardens are cleaned, while dogs are out exercising or once they have checked out, records updates
10am-11am Dogs check in or out of the hotel, dogs have a health check on arrival and departure, all dogs at this time are in their rooms to prevent barking and disturbance
12.30pm-1pm Rest time, staff lunch
1pm-6pm Dogs are health checked, exercised given activities and grooming, records updated, waters are refreshed
5pm-6pm Feeding, records updated
5pm-6pm Hotel is open for check out and in of guests, at this time dogs are in their rooms to prevent barking and disturbance
Once dark doors to gardens are closed and alarm is set, this changes with time of year
The dogs have their TV’s on during the day at different times to help them not to feel lonely when we are not with them
8pm-10pm Owners are updated with photos so they can see how their dogs are enjoying their holiday if they have booked this service, also emails and phone calls are returned and records are updated while the dogs rest.
9pm-10pm Dogs are let out for their bed time toilets they are given a bed time treat and lights are out for sleep time, I know in some Kennels dogs are put to bed at 8pm or even as early as 5pm and then not checked until 8am, this is very cruel, to leave a dog this long alone with no chance to relive themselves or have any company
10pm-12pm all lights out final check around and sweep + mop halls, dish washer + washing machine on, Alarms set. All day and night we can view the dogs on the CCTV which is in each room and garden, we check them during the night if needed, in cases such as illness or dogs that are finding it hard to settle, in some cases I have even slept with the dogs to help them settle or monitor them. Someone is always on site to care for the dogs 24 hours a day
